Earlier today Google announced the release of the latest Beta for their very popular internet browser, Google Chrome for the 3 most popular operating systems; Windows, Mac and Linux! This Beta release has brought several new enhancements to Chrome, the biggest being an intergrated Flash plug in, and speed increases to make an already fast browser, even faster!
Today’s new beta release incorporates one of Chrome’s most significant speed and performance increases to date, with 30% and 35% improvement on the V8 and SunSpiderbenchmarks over the previous beta channel release. In fact, looking back in time, Chrome’s performance has improved by as much as 213% and 305% on these two benchmarks since our very first beta.
Other welcome additions include bookmark synchornization so you can share your bookmarks among several computers, and some new HTML5 features, namely Geolocation APIs, App Cache, web sockets, and file drag-and-drop capabilities.

To show off just how fast this Beta is, Google have put together several tests which include loading webpages alongside tasks which you’d miss in a blink of the eye!
If you want to try out the beta, you can download Chrome on the Windows beta channel, or download the Mac or Linux betas.
