WWDC 2011: iCloud

Are we looking at the post PC era ? I think so.

On June 6th, 2011, Apple held their annual World Wide Developers Conference. Apple provided information on iCloud. It’s going to be out “This Fall” and will be costing us merely $0, which I personally found a shock. iCloud is an online way to keep all your Apple devices synced up over the “Cloud” (which really is a massive data centre)

In the video I’m going to solely focus on iCloud

I’m Back

Hello, my fellow friends.

My name is Kieran Greene. I have just recently come back to the YouTube community after a dry spell of being away. In the video above I hope that I can clearly explain my goals, plans and hopes for my new YouTube Channel.

Have Microsoft Confirmed That Halo 4 Is Coming!

Perhaps this news has been released slightly earlier than Microsoft planned, but a recent image on their Xbox E3 webpage shows that we could be seeing Halo 4 during this years E3 conference!

The image has now been removed from the website, and replaced with a banner advertising the E3 community in the Xbox Forums. Voice search, shown above, has also been removed from the page. I wonder what else Microsoft have in store for us today!

Google Launch Google Wallet and Get Sued by Paypal

Today in New York, Google introduced the tech community to their latest addition, Google Wallet, which is an application that will “turn your mobile phone into your wallet.” This includes the ability to store your credit cards, loyalty cards, gift cards, etc.. At launch Google Wallet will support Citi Mastercard and Google Prepaid Card.

However, PayPal lost no time before suing Google.

According to PayPal’s lawsuit (read in full here,) former PayPal executive (now working at Google) Osama Bedier stole PayPal’s trade secrets and shared it with Google amongst others. Another present Googler and former PayPal exec, Stephanie Tilenius, violated her contract when she recruited Bedier, PayPal also added.

FIFA 12 Footage Leaked!

Footage has been leaked of this years installment in the FIFA series, FIFA 12, showing off some of the new features we’ve been expecting such as; the more realistic injuries and the improvement in graphics!

httpvh://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6WnNDieX1w

The 9 minute long video showcases plenty of gameplay, it seems that EA have definitely been working hard to improve the physics of the game, making it seem more realistic. Shielding the ball is another new feature to the game which is demonstrated in the video, allowing players to shrug off any weak attempts at tackles or even back into opposing players!

Passing and shooting improvements however, weren’t shown in the video. I guess we will have to wait for official news from EA later this year.

FIFA 12 is expected later this year on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
